Thanks for sharing all of this intriguing information, Sharon. My most performed short play is about a con artist. I wrote it to work out my feelings about a con artist family member.
Wow! yes, you've caught the spirit of my post. The feelings from the con are strong (I have them too) and yet we still seek the story to find meaning. I'd love to hear more about your play.
It's called Stranger on the Porch and it's about a childless couple who are faced with a young woman who says the husband is her father. It's the mother who really wants a child and embraces her. I got to attend a rehearsal of it and answer questions from the actors when it was included in an evening of plays at Berea College. That was lots of fun!
For the last fifteen months I've struggled with leg ulcers from poor circulation, so this morning I shared with the family that I'd developed one in the most unfortunate of places - my youngest daughter (41) called first encouraging me to go straight to the infectious disease control people; and my older daughter (44) called after praying for me for thirty minutes. But the best, my son-in-law texted back saying that he'd had poison ivy in the same place last year and it was awful! TMI, and they still aren't talking to me.
Great information - but now I'm confused - is the information you've presented real information, or have you just pranked all of us?
Signed, Cautious (P.S. I already MONUMENTALLY "got" my whole family this morning so I'm expecting the worst!)
Oh no! But now I'm curious what you did ; )

Goodness, sounds like quite the morning!
